OUTREACH

Students for a Safer Southside gives free presentations and outreaches to groups and members of the Berkeley community. Our presentation contains information about the Second Response Ordinance, which concerns police response to parties, and the Social Host Ordinance, which concerns hosts who hold parties where underaged person(s) are consuming alcoholic beverages. We also discuss interesting statistics regarding the usage of alcohol, other alcohol laws, and how enforcement works. Our presentation is generally 20 minutes long, but it can be lengthened or shortened to fit your time needs.
